Buffalo in Dust

An old bull comes out of his own dust, one heavy horn catching the light before the rest of him arrives. Anyone who has met a dagga boy on foot knows that stare, and knows to give it room. Drawn in black charcoal on white paper, the soft haze throws the sharp detail of horn and eye into relief, so he reads as both massive and momentary. Signed and dated 2024.

Each print is made to order as an archival giclee, on 100% cotton rag paper or canvas, with pigment inks rated to last generations. Three sizes, supplied unframed.
